Apple is reopening its stores, but with new in-store health and safety measures.
The company already opened 100 stores globally as it plots its retail future.
The new retail experience includes limited occupancy and face coverings required for all workers and customers.
Temperature checks also will be conducted at the door and posted health questions will be used to screen for those with symptoms, according to Apple.
Some stores will use curb-side pickup and drop off for those who buy online.
Apple had previously closed nearly all its retail stores worldwide due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“When a store in your area does take this step to reopen, which you can check up on using the Find a Store search tool, you’ll find the same teams that were there before we closed, but things may look and feel a little different,” states the Apple store announcement. “For one thing, you’ll find yourself with plenty of space.”
