Casper the mattress company has created a connected nightlight intended to help people fall asleep more naturally.
The Casper Glow lamp is customizable, using a mobile app so that multiple lamps can be connected and synced.
The portable light has a wireless charging station and fades out over time as the owner drifts off to sleep.
The lamp is controlled by gestures, such as wiggling it, and a built-in gyroscope allows control of brightness by twisting it.
A wakeup mode can be set with the mobile app, so the light gradually brightens at the designated time, without an alarm.
The Casper Glow, priced at $89, fades down over a 45-minute period, according to a company video.
