To promote its new nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Southern California’s Ontario International Airport (ONT), JetBlue introduced an augmented reality experience to highlight the New York City experience.

The limited-time interactive AR environment allowed users to explore iconic New York City monuments and local staples, including the Statue of Liberty, a giant New York-style bagel and a classic hot dog stand.

Daily prizes were offered for interacting with the landmarks within the mobile app. Prizes included vouchers to ONT concession, roundtrip flights from ONT to JFK and tickets to local sporting events and shows.
