Luxury furniture maker Artemest has introduced augmented reality shopping in its new app just launched for iOS mobile devices.
The AR tool allows users to preview objects in their home, with visualization in real-life dimensions, including 360-degree views.
The app includes the entire Artemest collection of pieces from more than 500 Italian artisans.
An exploration tab in the app is customizable to provide searches by price range, materials, colors and artisans. The product content in the app will be updated every two weeks, according to the company announcement.
Other furniture retailers, including Wayfair, Ikea and Overstock.com, have introduced augmented reality apps for visualizing furniture in homes.
